The core skill for Service Desk is communication skills that can be used to interact, empathize & response to customers. With analytical skills in day to day life challenges can be handled well. Service Desk personal should be good at project management too.
Basic knowledge of hardware, software, security, cyber-security is an added advantage. Along with the product, service or process domain knowledge, its expected to be good at database management skills. IT service desk is very dynamic which need keen focus, good time management skill with full courtesy in it.
